Is 20kWh enough?
This will be optimal for the essentials, PLN's Rolling Blackout is expected to lasts 3 to 4 hours maximum. The battery pack can be expanded in the future.
Is solar mandatory?
Solar is optional and can be added later.
Does Solar work in Indonesia?
Despite the cloudy days, wet season, and location to the equator, Solar energy works great in Indonesia
For example: In Tanah Lot in 2025, the system produced an average of 16,6kWh/day for 10 panels of 550Wp.
Will Voltropic reduce my electricity bill?
Your energy bill could be reduced by decomissioning a Genset, due to the extra cost for maintenance and the petrol/diesel for running a Genset.
To reduce your PLN electricity bill, add some Solar production with our optional Solar Panel package.
For example: In Tanah Lot in 2025, your PLN saving would be IDR 12.287.694 (12 juta) with 10 panels of 550Wp.
At base tarif 7700VA of Token IDR 1.699,53 + PPN 11% + PPJ 8% (+ admin).
Will my electricity bill go up?
In standby, the system uses very little energy. When combined with Solar production, your bill will go down.
Inverter OFF standby: ≈ 10–15 W
Line mode (PLN bypass): ≈ 25–40 W
Do I need to install a Stavolt / Voltage Regulator?
You do not need a Stavolt. Depending on the system, you might be able to remove existing Stavolt and use the Power Quality monitoring feature of Voltropic.
Does this support a 3-phase system?
Yes, we can install the Power backup system on any number of phases.
My house is big, will I need a bigger system?
If your peak power is more than 5kW, we can limit the power backup the essentials, thus a smaller system will be enough for a bedroom A/C, office A/C, fridge, and Wi-Fi.
I have an existing Genset
You can integrate Voltropic with an existing Genset, including automatic start signal when the batteries reach low charge level, during a Blackout.
